At VERA MUSE, we strongly believe in the quality of every pearl piece we create — and we understand that life happens. That's why we offer the following warranty and care services to give you complete peace of mind.

1. Basic Warranty

All pearl jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

This includes:

  • Broken metal components

  • Detached clasps or findings

  • Loose pearl settings

(Damage caused by normal wear and tear or improper use is not covered — see exclusions below.)

2. Lifetime Services

Free Cleaning Service
We offer complimentary lifetime cleaning to remove surface dirt and oxidation, restoring your pearls' natural luster.

Restringing Service
Over time, the silk or nylon thread on pearl necklaces and bracelets may weaken. We provide free restringing and clasp replacement (materials charged separately).

3. Sizing Adjustments

Rings: Free lifetime resizing service.

Bracelets & Necklaces: Length adjustments available upon request (additional pearls may be added or removed; materials charged separately).

What Is Not Covered

While we don't cover the following under our free warranty, we do offer paid repair services for most issues:

  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, or crushing

  • Chemical exposure (perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, cleaning agents) leading to discoloration or loss of luster

  • Improper use or unauthorized modifications

  • Natural surface characteristics of pearls — including growth lines, tiny pits, or slight color variations — which are inherent to natural organic gemstones and are not considered defects

Pearl Care Tips

Pearls are organic gems and need a little extra love. To keep them looking their best:

  • Last on, first off — Put your pearls on after applying makeup and perfume, and take them off before removing makeup or washing up.

  • Avoid chemicals — Keep pearls away from perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, and cleaning products. It's not water they fear — it's chemicals.

  • Keep away from sweat & heat — Remove pearls before exercising, showering, or soaking in hot springs. Sweat and high temperatures can damage the nacre.

  • Wipe gently, store separately — After each wear, wipe your pearls with a soft cloth and store them separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches.

  • Never use ultrasonic cleaners — Ultrasonic cleaning can damage pearl surfaces. Please avoid it.
